Waleed’s business career has included the development of multiple sustainable local businesses and consulting services to many other businesses in the areas of growth strategy. He travels broadly across the United States, Africa, and South America to speak and assist local organizations in the development of outreach strategies.

Waleed is an author and accomplished conference speaker who has maintained strong local ties to his own community, earning him a place in the hearts of community leaders and families because of his commitment to local business, charity, and the role that faith plays in healthy organizations and families.

Dan brings growth experience to the board as a founder or principal in four small and uniquely different industries. He was also instrumental in the IPO of a fifth company and has contributed to the success of hundreds of others. These companies have been in industries such as defense contracting, information systems, textile production, environmental protection, and telecommunications.

In 1990, left private industry to form Dan Light Consulting. Then in 2015, he turned his attention to helping early-stage businesses succeed. Since that time, six years he has advised and mentored fledgling entrepreneurs, provided investor advice for angel fund investors and served with businesses in search of answers as a SCORE counselor.

Michael is a leading national strategist for wealth building, a three-time National Racquetball Champion and a Martial Artist. For nearly 30 years, his career in financial services has centered on sharing tax strategies that allow clients to build significant wealth. Most of his clients face overwhelming taxes and he presents them with options to greatly reduce or eliminate those taxes. He works primarily through partnerships with tax professionals and financial advisors.

While the majority of his work focus on business owners, he also launched a service that eliminates large student loan payments. This program makes it possible for the more than 47 million people across America to eliminate student loan debt.

David Mills is an author, speaker, and nationally recognized trainer who has provided community-based training to more than 10,000 local leaders across the U.S. He has a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from California State University, and a B.A. in Management of Human Resources from Fresno Pacific University. David has written multiple books including Rapid Community Assessment and Let Compassion Guide You, which focus on helping local leaders reach their communities more effectively. 

David is passionate about the role that local enterprise plays in forming and sustaining healthy communities and believes that it is business leaders who create community sustainability by leading enterprises that support local taxes, employ workers, and build the environments and opportunities that make communities great. He is the founder of Story Collaborative and Brand Disciples, two organizations that serve the needs of local and national business leaders and their communities.
